A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

This is not your beautiful house.
Stuck in a strange house, survive the horrors lurking outside (and eventually inside) in this survival-oriented roguelike made for 7DRL in, well, 7 days.

I packed as many features as I could, including:

  • Kicking furnitures around

Example of a log kick message

10/10 best image ever

  • Procedurally generated world (each run is different)

Generated using BSP. There also is a forest outside, but its dangerous.

  • Easy to understand UI (for a retro roguelike)

  • Base building

Player getting mobbed outside of their base, base that is guarded by traps.

  • Follows the berlin interpretation,  except the fact that this game doesn't take place in a dungeon.

Features missing:

  • Guns
  • Animals
  • Windows (added post-jam) and mac ports (need an accessible machine to do so).

Post-Jam features:

Windows port, containing one minor UI bugfix (furnitures used to be named "Broken Broken ... Table" when kicked more than once) and made the noise you produce visible. This port was tested using Wine.

There also is a Windows port disponible with the post-jam features removed. It is named WIN_JAM.

The font used is Potash 10x10, taken from dwarffortresswiki.org (graphic tileset repository). I used libtcod , cx_Freeze.

The SA counter actually means sanity, and reading books improves / decreases it (or just does nothing). Bleeding/ getting attacked will also decrease it, while eating increases it. If you have a sanity of 0 or lower, you will lose. Sorry for the confusion.
